This year’s event takes place Saturday, Sept. 11 and Sunday, Sept. 12. Parking information, road closures and detours are detailed here. MCA-TV will kick off its 25th consecutive season of Moon Area High School varsity football coverage beginning on home turf with the Sept. 3, season opener against the Mars Planets. For the remainder of the season, MCA-TV will cover every home and away Tiger football game in a six-camera broadcast that features instant replays and high-quality graphics, including a scoreboard, countdown clock and downs and yardage displays. Moon resident Dave Merison and MCA-TV volunteer Pete Cepulis will provide play-by-play reporting and analysis from the press box while a crew of MCA-TV volunteers handles the technical aspects of production. As kick-off approaches, Merison and Cepulis will pump up viewers for 2010 Tiger football with a season preview special that will air on MCA-TV, Comcast channel 14 and Verizon channel 35, on Aug. 23, 26 and 28. Catch Tiger Football games on Saturdays at 11 a.m. and Mondays at 10 a.m., 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on MCA-TV Comcast channel 14 and Verizon FiOS channel 35. Port Authority bus route changes coming Sept. 5 Posted: August 19, 2010 Port Authority's efforts to improve its route system continue with the next group of changes planned to start on Sept. 5. Nearly 75 routes, including several in the West Hills area, will be affected by the upcoming changes. The Moon Township Volunteer Fire Company is hosting this annual event, which also features entertainment and food vendors. All proceeds benefit the Volunteer Fire Company.
