About Moon Township Public Works

The Department of Works consists of approximately 12 crew members, a Public Works Administrator and the Moon Township Road Master. The Department of Public Works is responsible for the maintenance of all Township-owned roads, which includes filling pot holes, sealing cracks and simple paving. They are responsible for posting all of the Township’s signage and they assist with construction projects, including the set redesign for MCA-TV.

Additionally, the Department of Public Works is responsible for salting and plowing Township-owned roads during cold-weather months. The department owns several vehicles, which allow them to provide a vast array of services to Moon Township residents.
