Robert Morris University has purchased the former Holiday Inn on University Boulevard and has filed a request to amend Chapter 208 of the Moon Township Code of Ordinances, Zoning to revise certain definitions, and establish the MEO Mixed-Use Education Overlay District and regulations regarding the same.
This proposed ordinance is the subject of a zoning amendment request filed by Robert Morris University. A public hearing on this proposed ordinance will be held before the Moon Township Board of Supervisors during the Board's rescheduled regular meeting on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 7:00 PM in the Township Municipal Building, 1000 Beaver Grade Road, Moon Township, PA 15108.
The University formally presented a request to the Board and public at the June 5, 2013 public meeting.
